  1. CHARITY IS OUR LOVE FOR GOD ABOVE ALL THINGS FOR HIS OWN SAKE, AND OUR NEIGHBOR AS OURSELVES FOR THE LOVE OF GOD. JESUS TOLD HIS APOSTLES, JN13:34 “LOVE ONE ANOTHER; EVEN AS I HAVE LOVED YOU, THAT YOU ALSO LOVE ONE ANOTHER. BY THIS ALL MEN WILL KNOW THAT YOU ARE MY DISCIPLES, IF YOU HAVE LOVE FOR ONE ANOTHER.” ST. PAUL TOLD US, 1 COR 13:13 “FAITH, HOPE, LOVE ABIDE, THESE THREE; BUT THE GREATEST OF THESE IS LOVE.” CHARITY IS A GIFT TO US FROM GOD, WRAPPED IN SANCTIFYING GRACE CHARITY, LIKE HOPE, RESIDES IN THE WILL.

Charity is one of the three theological virtues. The others are faith and and hope.
Charity is also one of the twelve fruits of the Holy Spirit.

“There will be terrifying times in the last days. People will be self-centred and lovers of money, proud, haughty, abusive…, irreligious, callous, implacable, slanderous, licentious, brutal, hating what is good…as they make pretense of religion but deny its power.” – (2 Tim. 3:1-5)This is presently and horrendously happening nowadays.

In Latin it says: “Radix omnium malorum cupiditas est.” (“The love of money is the root of all evils.”) – 1 Timothy 6:10

“Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth…But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven…For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.” – Matthew 6:19-21

“To give away money is an easy matter and in any man’s power. But to decide virtuously who to give it to, the amount to give, when, how, and for what purpose is neither in every man’s power, nor an easy matter.” – Aristotle

  7. Christian Charity:

What Does the Bible Say About Charity?, The Way of Charity | Learn The Bible
1 Timothy 1:5 “Now the end of the commandment is charity out of a pure heart, and of a good conscience, and of faith unfeigned”.

Jewish Charity? It is difficult for the Jewish to do charity with Christians. Jewish loans money with no interest to fellow Jews but not with Christians.

Category:Jewish charities – Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia, Judaism 101: Tzedakah: Charity.
“When in a settlement in the land that G-d your Lord is giving you, any of your brothers is poor, do not harden your heart of shut your hand against your needy brother. Open your hand generously…make every effort to give him, and do not feel bad about giving it, since G-d your Lord will then bless you in all your endeavors, no matter what you do. The poor will never cease to exist in the land, so I am commanding you to open your hand generously to your poor and destitute brother in your land.” Dvarim (Deuteronomy 15:7-11)

Islamic Charity? (I have included this Islamic Charity because there are also many Filipino Muslims in the Philippines inter-acting with Filipino Catholics and Christians.
What is Islamic Charity?, http://www.iazf.org/donat. htm, Islam and Charity: Islamic Charity or Muslim Charity?,www.ezsoftech.com/ stories/mis51.asp.

Prophet Muhammad (S) said: “There is no person who does not have the obligation of doing charity every day that the sun rises.” Whereupon he was asked: “O Messenger of Allah (SWT), from where would we get something to give in charity (so often)?” Prophet Muhammad (S) replied: “Indeed the gates to goodness are many: glorifying Allah (SWT), praising Him, magnifying Him, saying ‘There is no god but Allah’, enjoining the good and forbidding the evil, removing (any source of harm from the road, listening to the aggrieved, guiding the blind, showing the seeker his need, striving as far as your two legs could carry you and with deep concern to give succour to him who asks, carrying with the strength of your arms (the burdens of) the weak. All these are acts of charity which are an obligation on you.” And Prophet Muhammad (S) added: “And your smiling in the face of your brother is charity, your removing of stones and thorns from people’s paths is charity, and your guiding a man gone astray in the world is charity for you.”

    Ecumenical Charity?

Consider our Jesus Christ prayer to his Father: ‘may they all be one… that the world may believe that you sent me…’ (Jn 17.21) and St Paul’s plea: ‘spare no effort to make fast with bonds of peace the unity which the Spirit gives’ (Eph 4:3)

Non-Sectarian Charity? What do you think?

It is also important not only to fight against money and wealth addiction but also to promote life-saving charitable help the poor and the needy, to practice a non-sectarian method of charity. Let us not be choosy to help others in need when there is a chance and truth to help.

  8. I am a believer that Small things or gifts will always count to help as life-saving, as long as they are done and given wholeheartedly, lovingly and generously, not grudgingly without prejudice. In the absence of justice particularly economic justice, CHARITY CAN DO if and when possible. However, certainly and ultimately for all humanity to be AT PEACE AND PROSPERITY IN SOLIDARITY AND UNITY for the common grounds, THERE MUST BE EQUAL FOOTINGS FOR BOTH JUSTICE AND CHARITY – intertwining for the better world.

The very fact that peoples of good will, not just patriots are the ones that keep the world going and MAN alive upon this Earth and absolutely not those VORACIOUS BANKERS, FINANCIERS, SPECULATORS AND RACKETEERS, NOT THOSE PROSTITUTED ECONOMISTS AND CERTAINLY NOT THOSE MONEY-POISONED AND CORRUPT POLITICIANS.

The global economy produces more or less US$30 TRILLION value of wealth production annually but only goes to the powerful and super-rich multinational corporations, global mega-bankers, commercial/financial institutions, millionaire-billionaire- tycoons that and who control money, wealth and population. Individual, organizations, institutions, systems, ideologies, beliefs, practices and policies are, alas, hostile to faith, morality, life ,family and the poor in the third world.

Hundreds of billions of tonnes of FOOD, and other goods go to waste every year in the whole world while more than 900 million people are suffering hunger, diseases and tremendously life-health devastating-killing material and monetary poverty and economic hemorrhage. Millions, billions to trillions of money are scandalously misused and wasted in the world for spiritually, morally, physically, economically, socially and environmentally damaging programmes andprojects when undeniably millions of people are in the most shameful, devastating, dreadful, miserable and most degrading poverty.

Reportedly, there are around 7.5 million Millionaires to Billionaires globally with the collective assets of US$25 Trillion, and is expectedly reaching to US$44.9 to $50 Trillion in 2011, and much more in the coming years at the expense of the sufferings of billions of poor people in this planet.

BECAUSE OF GREED, $50 Trillion have been wiped off as a result of the global financial crisis in 2009-2011.

    ReplyDelete
  9. In the world today, we have around more than US$600 Trillion dollars circulating everyday, but these hugest monies are not going through to peoples in terms of financial-economic democracy but controlled by the powerful few, magnates, tycoons, global banking and multinational conglomerates and governments engaged in programs that against life, environment and ultimate against God. $600 Trillion dollars are under the spells of greed, avarice, injustice and curse of God.

According to global aid statistics that between 1950 to 2009, MORE THAN US$3 Trillion flowed from the rich world nations to the poor world nations in the form of BILATERAL AID-STRING-BASED-ATTACHED or Development Assistance in the form of INTEREST-BEARING LOANS but this aid did not FEED DOWN TO THE POOR AND THE NEEDY AND THE INTENDED RECIPIENTS SUCH AS THE VICTIMS OF HUNGER AND NATURAL CALAMITIES but went to corruptions that in the span of 60 years, the total costs of corruptions all over the world are about US$2.8 Trillion, but in contemporaneous with this corruption imperialism within this period covered, the RICH NATIONS through the tutelage and supervision and structural reform policies and conditions of the IMF-WB, and other foreign and international bankers through their ECONOMIC HIT MEN and sub-agents and their vultures, leeched off and siphoned off via legal and illegal transfers of money and channels around US$5 Trillion with annual interest payments of US$400 Billion annually collected from the third world nations.

Reportedly, the annual foreign aid totals of US$50 Billion to the third world nations (that do not feed down to the poor and the needy in the third world nations) but the dirty money that flow or streams illegally the other way, from poor countries to rich countries has been reportedly US$500 Billion up to US$1 Trillion per year that go to lodge to the transnational banks or transition economies of the Western countries

US banks hold $800 trillion in assets.

US$66 Trillion to US$600 Trillion dollars must be distributed to every citizen of the earth at least $1 Million each annually to have a guaranteed financial economic security. PEOPLE’S MONEY IS FOR ALL PEOPLE, NOT ONLY FOR THE BANKERS AND POLITICIANS.

Why not distribute US$16 Trillion to every man, woman and child in this planet in the value of $10,000 up to $50,000 each?
    In the Philippines:
US$840 Billion or P47 Trillion Estimated Value of Philippines’ mineral resources are Filipino People’s Wealth, not of the multinationals, the powerful few and the tycoons.

    ReplyDelete
  10. For almost 25 years, it has been reported that the total monetary corruptions in the Philippines are around US$74 Billion or more or less P30 Billion Pesos annually or even more. In the science of corruptions, there are so many forms of corruptions. Corruption feeds addiction.
P7.177 TRILLION TOTAL ASSETS OF THE PHILIPPINE BANKS. Trillions for the bankers and debts for the Filipino people.
The data released by the Central Bank of the Philippines or Bangko Sentral Ng Pilipinas as reported to Philippine Star Newspaper dated October 2, 2011, THE TOTAL ASSETS OF THE banks operating in the Philippines, as of end-July 2011, amounted to P7.177 TRILLION or up 10.7%, higher than the P6.481 Trillion as of end-July 2010.

The rising assets and profits of the commercial/private banks operating in the Philippines are not because of “savings deposits of the peoples” but of the privately-based creation of money out of nothing using people’s deposits and their bank deposits as plausible screen hiding the creation of money, and charging interest upon the general public and this is very correct to say, that is a legalized robbery since all the money should be PUBLIC MONEY, OR PEOPLE’S MONEY AS THE SYMBOL OF WEALTH OF THE NATION FOR ALL BY THE WILL OF GOD.

The real owners of the money is the entire Filipino people, not the bankers.

The private/commercial banks have 95% taken over the properties, housings, businesses and working peoples in the Philippines. The central bank of the Philippines is not a public central bank but a privately-owned central bank owned by the private bankers, controlled by the BIS and hijacked by the IMF and WB and just a depository bank of the Philippine Government. It is unthinkable that Philippine Government pays the central bank to print Philippine peso currency bills borrowed from private/commercial/foreign/international bankers and at the same time, deposit borrowed money, tax monies within the protocols existing between the Bureau of Treasury under the auspices of the Philippine Department of Finance.

These cobweb of technical complications are not known to ordinary Filipinos but the adroit bankers, economists, knowledgeable politicians hide all their best to keep up the ugly operations of the banking system.

The total interest payments being paid by hugely indebted nations to IMF and WB annually are more than US$500 Billion to$Trillions of dollars of debts that can never be paid even until Twenty Second Century.

The total corruptions in the world are reportedly trillions of dollars every year. The same of the gargantuan waste of money and operating expenses of these war criminals.

Hundreds of $billions to trillions of dollars for years of term programs are consciencelessly wasted against life by lucratively-oriented culture of death of abortion and population control programs, also cloning, test-tube baby, euthanasia and destruction of human life and family mandated by the global manipulators and the powerful elites.

Hundreds of $billions to trillions of dollars are wasted by war criminals for profits in taking over nations, oils and resources and dispose human beings without mercy and destroying those who oppose global powers.
The physical, natural, monetary wealths of the nation(s) and of the world are for all citizens without discriminations, and not for the bankers, not for the politicians and government leaders, not for tycoons and not for the greedy.

Individual tycoon millionaires and billionaires, commercial / international banking / financial institutions and multinational corporations make and earn combined trillions of dollars profit annually in the whole world while millions of poor families, children, aged, farmers and workers are suffering injustice, ignominiously starving in the sea of miseries, and many nations most particularly in the Third world nations fall into the traps of enormous and gargantuan unpayable debts-at-interest payments of their astronomical and mountainous foreign debts at the cost of human life and the sufferings of millions of poor people in the quagmire of hardcore poverty.

Due to lack and/or absence of justice and charity in the conscience of mankind, there are many people now who are engaged in wanton acts of economic/social/monetary injustice, sabotage, speculations, corruptions, racketeering, scams, violence, crimes and other chicaneries, enjoying the heavens of luxuries and great abundance in front of millions to billions of desperate poor people in the world.

Many times, rich people (with few exceptions and with my apology) in the Philippines and in more affluent countries are so blinded to what poor people in the impoverished communities and third world nations of the debt-logged unjust economic system really have to go through in the eye of a needle of hardships and miseries just to get their basic necessities to survive. Without justice and charity in the heart and conscience of rich people, they usually turn a blind eye or a deaf ear to the groaning cry of the poor, of the poorest in the world.

God has created the earthly goods for all men, without exception, no doubt. Hence, all men without exception, have the inherent basic inalienable rights in strict social and economic justice to have such share from the abundance of earthly goods as needed to live as human persons as children of God. God-made-wealth and men-transformed earthly goods could only serve life when these are distributed according to justice and charity.

  12. We need prosperity funds as early as possible in 2012. There are so many poor and needy in the damned poverty-hunger situation in the Philippines.

We have been once again struck and hit down by the endless debacles of calamities of flash floods in the Philippines provinces particularly in the Southern Philippines. We cannot understand anymore what is going to to Philippine weather?

I don't believe it is God's doing, but man-made apocalypse. Otherwise, if this is of God, this could be a kind of harvesting or separation of the lambs and the goats mentioned in the apocalypse.

Flash floods in the Philippines are like Tsunami in Fukushima Japan. Are calamities man-made for population control programs?

I believe the conspiracy theory that weather modification or warfare could be used for population control programs other than artificial contraceptives and abortion.

We need more prayers these times.

    About UK.

I also come across a news in a report from the British Foreign Office, that there is a need to evacuate British citizens in the near future when Portugal and Spain financially collapse. Accordingly, the Eurozone economies are being slowly and deliberately strangled by increased taxes and difficult living that cause business to downsize or collapse with the consequence of jobs being lost and becoming more scarce also.

It has been reported that Eurozone is on the verge of collapse. Accordingly, very soon there will also be no jobs and no benefits — and that it will be a revolutionary situation. The number of jobs being lost each month is reportedly staggering, also even reportedly in Ireland. The economies of Europe are disintegrating and the just as the welfare benefits are being decreased or totally cancelled. The European economy is also eventually imploding.

USA and Israel attacks against Iran?

When the US or Israel attacks Iran the Straights of Hormuz will be closed, the price of oil will increase to beyond $250 or 200 pounds sterling per barrel and Europe will descend into total chaos.

Revolutions and civil wars in Europe?

When there will be revolutions and civil wars in Europe we will know that the world war is about to begin. We must prepare ourselves for a wartime situation. One of the US joint chiefs said a few days ago that Iran will be attacked. It’s not going to be a happy New Year in 2012. Peoples in EU zones will need some avenue of escape when it becomes impossible to heat the houses. Between coal, electricity and trash collection that are already costing more than they can afford. They also do not have enough money for food and other essential expenses. When the price of oil goes up then it will become impossible to live in the USA, UK and EU zones.

    Dying in the UK?

Also reportedly, in the UK there are thousands dying because of lack of heat in their homes and it will only get worse in 2012 as prognosticated. The Poles are leaving Western Europe and going back home because jobs are being lost here on a massive scale.

I can't believe it all but it seems obvious that these are becoming the harsh realities in our planet.
